Step 1: Set Up Your Nexvio.ai Chatbot
To integrate your Nexvio.ai chatbot with Slack, begin by logging into your Nexvio.ai account. If you haven’t already created an account, you can sign up for a free account. After signing in, you can configure your bot within the Nexvio.ai platform by uploading relevant data sources, such as company documentation, FAQs, or internal resources, which the bot can use to build its knowledge base.
Step 2: Prepare Your Slack Workspace

Ensure you have administrative access to the Slack workspace where you want to add the chatbot.

Log in to your Slack workspace and make sure you have the necessary permissions to add applications.
Step 3: Connect Nexvio.ai to Slack

In your Nexvio.ai dashboard, navigate to the specific bot you want to connect and go to the Connect tab.

Look for the Slack integration option and click on it.

You’ll be prompted to authorize Nexvio.ai to access your Slack workspace. Click “Allow” to proceed.

Select the Slack workspace you want to connect with your chatbot.

Configure the bot’s visibility settings - decide which channels it should be active in or make it available workspace-wide.

Set up additional configuration options, such as welcome messages, specific commands, or notification preferences.

Click “Connect” to finalize the integration.
Step 4: Test Your Slack Integration

Open your Slack workspace.

Navigate to a channel where the bot has been added, or direct message the bot.

Try interacting with the bot by asking a question or using a command.

The Nexvio.ai chatbot should respond based on your configured settings.

Review the interaction and make any necessary adjustments to your chatbot in the Nexvio.ai dashboard.
